The variety is tetraploid and early-maturing. During the flowering period, the plants reach a height of 80–95 cm, with a leafiness of 66.5%. The variety is distinguished by rapid regrowth after mowing or grazing, and seed productivity reaches 900 kg/ha.

The winter hardiness of the variety is estimated as below average; by the third year of life, about 30% of the plants remain. The variety is capable of tolerating summer droughts, however, productivity may decrease during extreme heat. It is used as a forage crop due to its high yield and palatability.
