The Finul variety was used as a control sample during comparative yield trials and genetic resource studies. During the research, parameters such as dry matter productivity, plant height, number of inflorescences, and timing of the heading phase were recorded.

Under experimental conditions, the variety demonstrated a dry matter yield of 13.41 t/ha, which exceeded the indicators of local populations. It was noted that the variety heads in early May and possesses slightly lower disease resistance compared to local ryegrasses.
