The variety is a tetraploid (4n) annual plant, characterized by rapid germination and active biomass formation. Compared to diploid forms, this variety is distinguished by larger seed and leaf size.

The plant is intended for forage purposes, including use in pastures, as well as mowing for green fodder or silage. The variety is distinguished by high nutritional value, high protein content, and good palatability of the feed.

In the scientific community, the variety is also used as a model object for biotechnological and genetic research, in particular for experiments on genetic transformation of tissues.
