The variety is tetraploid (4n). It is distinguished by intensive development, where the first cut is possible 6–8 weeks after sowing. The plant forms abundant leaf mass and a developed root system that penetrates deeply into the soil. The variety is characterized by high lodging resistance and moderate susceptibility to rust.

Ryegrass is used in forage production for grazing and mowing, both in pure stands and in mixtures with legumes. It is also used as an intermediate crop for improving soil structure and as a companion species for the rapid establishment of primary grass cover on new pastures.
