The variety is a diploid cultivar of Italian ryegrass. It is characterized by high yield and rapid spring regrowth after winter, while the density of regrowth after mowing is rated as medium.

Morphologically, the variety has a growth habit ranging from medium to semi-erect. The plant is characterized by relatively low resistance to the leaf spot complex and rust diseases.
