The variety is a tetraploid form characterized by a low level of susceptibility to rust. It possesses intensive root system development, which contributes to the improvement of soil structure and the accumulation of humus. The plant exhibits strong initial development, providing succulent forage 6–8 weeks after sowing, and has good regrowth capacity after mowing or grazing.
The variety's produce is distinguished by high nutritional value, including good digestibility and a balanced content of sugar and crude protein, which is suitable for silage production. The variety is used as a forage crop for the production of silage, hay, and green fodder, and is also used in biogas plants and as a cover crop for protecting soil from erosion and nitrogen fixation.
