The variety possesses characteristics approximating those of perennial species: dark green color, fine leaf texture, and high tiller density. It is distinguished by rapid germination and vigorous seedling growth.

The primary purpose of the variety is winter overseeding on fields with thermophilic grasses, as well as rapid greening of sites. In spring, Candidame gradually dies off without creating competition for the main stand, which allows it to be used as a temporary solution in landscape and sports design.
