The variety is a diploid Westerwold ryegrass (Westerwoldico) with an intermediate development cycle. The plant possesses high tillering capacity and an intermediate growth type, which adapts it to various livestock grazing regimes.

The variety demonstrates high productivity during the winter period and maintains leaf quality due to its resistance to rust. It ensures stable growth of high-quality forage over a long period of time.

The main purpose of the variety includes its use as a forage crop for fodder production and livestock grazing. The ryegrass is also used as a cover crop to improve soil structure, accumulate organic matter, and as raw material for silage or biogas plants.
