The Brixia variety is a diploid (2n) variety of Italian ryegrass. The plant is distinguished by a high dry matter content, which ensures good palatability and high nutritional value of the forage mass.
The variety possesses pronounced resistance to winter cold. The recommended seeding rate is from 25 to 40 kilograms per hectare. The primary purpose of the variety is use as a forage crop for fodder production.
