The variety belongs to the tetraploid type and is characterized as medium-late in terms of inflorescence emergence. The plant possesses high resistance to rust infection.

The variety is valued for its high productivity with maximum dry matter harvest in the first cut, good fiber digestibility, increased sugar content, and high metabolizable energy. A good leaf-to-stem ratio ensures excellent palatability.

It is used for silage production, grazing on pastures, and obtaining green fodder. It is suitable for cultivation as an intermediate crop after cereals, as well as for bioenergy purposes.
