Variety description

10 August 2026

The Bolero variety is a tetraploid Italian ryegrass. It is intended for use in intensive forage production, including silage harvesting, green mass production, and pasture establishment.

During multi-year trials, the variety demonstrated stable resistance indicators to fungal diseases, such as crown rust (Puccinia coronata) and stem rust (Puccinia graminis), comparable to other commercial varieties.
