The Dargo variety is a diploid plant belonging to the early-maturing group. It demonstrates excellent initial growth energy and high tillering during early development stages, which allows for a good yield during the first grazing cycles. The variety is responsive to nitrogen fertilizer application and is distinguished by high resistance to leaf rust.

The plant possesses adaptability to various soil types and increased tolerance to drought conditions compared to similar varieties. Dargo is intended for the establishment of pastures and fodder harvesting in intensive livestock systems, providing productivity over one to two years.
