The variety is intended for the creation of high-quality sports turf and has gained fame due to its use at Wimbledon venues. In international classifications, the variety belongs to the group with medium development periods.
The plant possesses high resistance to stress and trampling, characteristic of professional turf varieties. Unlike some other varieties of the same series, Abersprite does not possess the property of long-term green color retention during the winter period.
