The variety belongs to the group of early perennial ryegrass varieties and is diploid (2n). It was developed within breeding programs focused on increasing the concentration of water-soluble carbohydrates and improving the forage base for temperate climate conditions.

The plant is used for both grazing and ensiling. It is applied in experimental systems for evaluating pasture productivity and the efficiency of fattening agricultural animals.
