The variety is classified as mid-late. It is actively used in agricultural and botanical research, in particular for studying root and shoot respiration, carbohydrate metabolism, as well as for evaluating plant response to changes in carbon dioxide concentration and nitrogen nutrition levels.

As a typical representative of the species Lolium perenne, the plant has a loose-bunch growth habit, narrow dark green leaves with a shiny underside, and an ability for intensive tillering. The variety is not listed in open catalogs as a mass commercial product for general agrotechnical use.
