The variety belongs to the late-maturing grass group, with heading occurring approximately 14 days later than standard terms. The plant is a diploid loose-bunch grass capable of developing a powerful root system and having a specific segmental shoot organization.

The variety's genetics include Spanish germplasm, and it contains the endophyte Epichloë festucae var. lolii. The variety is intended for forage purposes and pasture use, and is valued for the possibility of extending the period of high-quality vegetative growth of the sward during the summer-autumn period.
