The variety belongs to the tetraploid type with a medium-late heading date. It is intended exclusively for forage production, including the establishment of pastures and the harvesting of hay or silage.
The variety is not synonymous with the RPR lawn technology, which is based on the use of rhizomatous forms of ryegrass for sports and landscape purposes. As a component of forage grass mixtures, the variety is evaluated by yield and palatability for livestock.
