The variety is a diploid representative of the lawn and ornamental grass group. It possesses a compact growth type and high resistance to mechanical stress, which allows for its use in the development of sports grounds and winter fields, as well as for the restoration of grass cover.

The plant possesses a developed root system, which finds application in experimental purposes for the bioremediation of soils from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The germination rate of seeds depends on the soil temperature regime, which is an important factor when formulating grass mixtures.
