The variety is tetraploid. In the vegetative stage without vernalization, the plant has a semi-erect growth habit, and the leaves are characterized by medium intensity of green color.

After reaching the vernalization stage, the plants reach a greater height and form broad leaves, the color of which varies from medium to dark green. The crop is traditionally used for forage purposes and as a component of lawn grass mixtures.
