The variety is intended primarily for use in mixtures for perennial pastures. It possesses high regrowth capacity after livestock grazing and resistance to mechanical stress.

Like other perennial ryegrass varieties, the plant is sensitive to snowless frosts and prolonged periods under snow cover. The morphological characteristics of the variety, such as spikelet size, are taken into account within the framework of official European variety trials.
