Variety description

10 August 2026

The Lamora variety is a low-growing plant with narrow light green leaves. During the selection process, particular attention was paid to the development of vegetative shoots and the assurance of winter hardiness and persistence (stability in the stand). The variety belongs to the group of late-maturing perennial ryegrass varieties.

The plant was specifically developed for use as a lawn grass. The variety is characterized by moderate resistance to rust infection. Historically, Lamora has been used in various trials dedicated to the study of seed productivity and the adaptive capabilities of lawn grasses.
