The variety belongs to the group of late-maturing diploid forms. During agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated high winter hardiness, standing out against other varieties in its maturity group. Resistance to diseases, including pathogens of the DTR type, is estimated at average levels for this species.

Livree ryegrass is used primarily in forage grass mixtures. The crop finds application in agriculture for the establishment of long-term pastures and forage lands, as well as in scientific research focused on the nutritional value of forage grasses and the composition of their pollen.
