The variety belongs to the tetraploid type and is characterized by late heading. The plant is intended for agricultural use for the purpose of establishing perennial pastures and hayfields, being suitable for both grazing and mowing.
The variety is distinguished by very high dry matter yield and excellent resistance to rust, in particular to Puccinia coronata. Morphological characteristics include the absence of pubescence on the leaves and the presence of auricles; young leaves are folded, and old leaves are rolled.
