Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is universal; it has been used as a pasture crop, as well as a cover or companion grass. The plant has fine leaves and a moderately low-growing leaf type of bush, distinguished by slower vertical growth compared to a number of other varieties.

Key advantages of the variety include excellent winter hardiness, an attractive appearance, and good color during the spring-autumn period. Due to the slow growth of stems, the variety is easily mowed, which contributes to its use for decorative purposes.

In scientific research, the variety is often mentioned as an object for studying adaptation to low temperatures, in particular, in connection with its resistance to pink snow mold.
