The variety is tetraploid (4n) and belongs to the early-maturing group; heading occurs two days earlier than that of the Allodia variety. The variety was obtained by crossing early-maturing breeding material with the varieties Pandora, Elgon, and Pastoral.

The plant is distinguished by high yield both in the first cut and throughout the season, while maintaining good organic matter digestibility. It is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to leaf diseases and bacterial wilt.

The variety is intended for forage purposes. Due to its biological characteristics, it can be used as a green manure crop when using strip-till technology for maize and sugar beet.
