The variety is a tetraploid intermediate-maturing ryegrass with a heading date in England and Wales between May 21 and May 23. It is intended for both silage harvesting and livestock grazing.

The plant is characterized by high yield, especially in the spring period, providing early forage mass growth. The variety possesses high digestibility indicators (D-value), which reach 71.4–73.5 for silage use and up to 76.6 for grazing. It is distinguished by good palatability and high taste attractiveness for animals.
