The variety is the result of crossing perennial ryegrass and Italian ryegrass. It is characterized by high yield, comparable to Italian ryegrass, and possesses increased longevity.

The plant is used as a highly productive forage grass. Detailed morphological characteristics, including precise height, maturity group, or indicators of lodging and disease resistance, are not presented in open publications.
