Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a tetraploid hybrid bred to combine the yield of Italian ryegrass with the longevity of perennial ryegrass. In the first half of the growing season, the variety demonstrates rapid growth characteristic of Italian ryegrass, and after the flowering period, the development type shifts, which contributes to the formation of leafy aftermath.

The plant is used to form productive forage stands over a long growing season. In scientific and agronomic studies, the variety is often used as a baseline sample for the comparative evaluation of new breeding achievements, and is also mentioned in works studying the phytosanitary state of crops and susceptibility to pathogens.
