The variety is tetraploid and, based on morphological characteristics, occupies an intermediate position between Italian ryegrass and perennial ryegrass. The plant is characterized by good digestibility of organic matter, which makes it sought-after in forage production.
In agronomic studies, the variety was evaluated for its level of resistance to a complex of diseases, including rust and leaf spot, as well as to the impact of winter conditions and bacterial wilt. The variety is used as a component in forage grass mixtures.
