The Melcamry variety is a tetraploid hybrid, which in its growth characteristics leans towards Italian ryegrass. It is characterized by rapid development and active growth in the spring period. The plant has large leaves and, as a rule, demonstrates increased resistance to rust.
This variety is oriented towards short-term cultivation lasting one to two years and is primarily used in a mowing regime for the production of forage mass.
