The variety Mańka belongs to tetraploid forms of hybrid ryegrass. Hybrid ryegrass is the result of crossing perennial and Italian ryegrass species, combining high yield with longevity and forage quality.

The variety is intended for the establishment of highly productive hayfields and pastures, is characterized by high dry matter digestibility, and is suitable for intensive use.
