The variety Rubrido is a tetraploid (4n) with a medium to medium-high stem height of 60–120 cm. The plant is characterized by rapid development, a dense structure, long, narrow leaves of an intense green color, and a powerful root system.

The variety possesses high resistance to rust, Xanthomonas, and lodging. The crude protein content is 16–20%, and the dry matter yield varies from 9 to 12 tons per hectare.

The ryegrass is distinguished by rapid establishment and intensive growth after winter; the period of economic use is 2–3 years. The recommended seeding rate is 30–40 kg/ha; the variety is suitable for livestock grazing and mixed cropping with other crops.
