The variety is an vigorously growing vine, which is a stable mutation of the form Lonicera japonica 'Repens'. An adult plant reaches about 4 meters in height and 3 meters in width.

A distinctive feature of the variety is the intense pink and cream color of young shoots and leaves, which turn green over time. The flowering process is accompanied by the appearance of fragrant flowers with a reddish tint, which provides a decorative contrast against the foliage.
