The variety is a representative of the genus Lophospermum. It was created by breeders at the Agriculture Academy of Vytautas Magnus University and has undergone official state registration in the Lithuanian plant variety list.

The plant is intended for ornamental use. Like other members of this genus, the variety belongs to herbaceous climbing plants, which are traditionally used in vertical gardening for gardens and terraces.
