The variety Empress Michiko is an ornamental crop propagated exclusively by vegetative means. The height of the plant's stems can reach 400 cm.

The flowers of the variety have a diameter of about 5.5 cm, the tube length is 3.7 cm. The color of the petals corresponds to the dark purple-red shade according to the RHSCC N79B scale.

The plant is recommended for use as an element of vertical landscaping, as well as for placement in hanging pots on balconies.
