The variety is a polyploid created on the basis of the Lophospermum erubescens species. The plant's leaves measure 8 by 8.5 cm, their upper side is grey-green (RHSCC 146A). The flowers reach approximately 7.0 cm in length and have a purple-red color (RHSCC 63B).

The plant is intended for vertical landscaping purposes. The variety is propagated only by vegetative means.
