The variety is intended for landscaping and use in pots. Plants of this genus do not overwinter in open ground under the climatic conditions of Lithuania; however, during the growing season they form a caudex, a thickening at the base of the stem, from which shoots can emerge in the spring.

The variety is the result of breeding work and is officially registered as one of the ornamental varieties of Lophospermum.
