The plant forms stems 44 to 60 cm tall. The leafiness of the variety is 47–52%. The variety demonstrates resistance to lodging, seed shattering, as well as high winter hardiness and drought tolerance.

Dry matter productivity under simulated pasture use averages 73 c/ha, and under hay use — 72 c/ha. Seed yield reaches about 2.3 c/ha.
