The variety was bred from wild ecotypes of the Pampa Húmeda region and is intended for use as a forage crop for pastures and hayfields.

The plant has a semi-erect growth habit, which ensures increased resistance to grazing and good regrowth capacity after defoliation. The variety is characterized by short winter dormancy, allowing it to begin vegetation earlier after winter.

The variety is valued for high productivity in the early spring period and the ability to produce quality dry matter.
