The variety is a tetraploid with semi-erect, smooth stems of a reddish hue. The leaves are light green, oblong in shape, have slight pubescence, and are characterized by a larger size compared to a number of analogs.

The plant belongs to an intermediate flowering type with a later vegetation cycle, flowering later than the varieties El Boyero MAG and Trueno. The rate of spring stem regrowth is characterized as moderate, surpassing the variety INIA Draco, but inferior to the varieties El Boyero MAG and Trueno.
