The variety features a growth type with limited branching due to the use of the rb gene. The plant matures 10–15 days earlier than traditional varieties and is characterized by pod resistance to shattering and shedding. The variety is adapted for regions with a short growing season.

The variety's production is characterized by a low alkaloid content, although biochemical studies noted the possibility of lupinine and sparteine accumulation. The grain is used as a feed crop and a high-protein additive in the production of bakery products.
