The variety Parys is mid-late and requires a vernalization process. It is a plant of the traditional growth type, capable of branching, with an average stem height of about 80 cm.
The plant possesses resistance to Fusarium and high resistance to lodging. It belongs to "sweet" varieties with a low alkaloid content, a seed protein content of about 41.4%, and a thousand kernel weight of about 145 g.
