Angold trees are characterized by moderately vigorous growth and form a broad, rounded crown, prone to thickening due to long shoots. The variety is a winter one, harvest is carried out in September–October, and consumer maturity of the fruits occurs from November to March.

The fruits are of medium to large size and have a globose-conical shape. The skin is smooth and shiny, colored yellow-green with a pronounced red blush. The taste of the fruits is sweet, aromatic and refreshing.

The variety possesses resistance to apple scab and shows tolerance to powdery mildew, although under certain conditions it may be susceptible to it. The trees are suitable for commercial and amateur gardening due to their relative ease of maintenance.
