The tree is characterized by medium vigor. The variety is a winter one; fruit harvest occurs in late September — October, and the crop can be stored until March. The plant has relative resistance to scab, but is susceptible to powdery mildew.

Fruits are small or medium in size and have a round, egg-shaped or barrel-like shape. The skin is lemon-yellow or greenish-yellow in color and covered with numerous lenticels. The juicy flesh has a sweet-and-sour taste and a pronounced pineapple aroma.

The variety is universal and suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, drying, and canning. In professional literature, it is classified as a reinette; in Slovenia, it is included in lists for the preservation of genetic diversity.
