ActiveMalus domestica (Suckow) Borkh. · Apple
Tagliani Francesco, Castagnoli Gianfranco, Leis Michelangelo, Martinelli Alessio
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4–5 meters, and forms a dense spherical crown. Flowering is late, which ensures the resistance of flowers to spring frosts. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties, such as Jonathan, Starking, Idared, or Gala. The trees are long-lived but prone to alternate bearing.
The fruits are of medium size, weighing about 180 g, and have a slightly flattened spherical shape. The smooth skin can be slightly greasy to the touch; the primary color is light green or straw-yellow with a red blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, fine-grained, with a sweet and sour taste. Consumer maturity occurs from November to March.
