The tree is of moderate vigor, prone to bearing fruit on the tips of shoots and drooping branches under the weight of the crop. Fruits are medium to large in size, round-conical in shape with smooth skin, having a greenish-cream ground color and a dark red blush.

The variety has a sweet-and-sour taste, and the flesh darkens slowly after cutting. The apple tree is resistant to scab, but susceptible to powdery mildew and fire blight. It is characterized by high yield, early entry into fruiting, and good keeping quality of the fruits, although it is prone to rapid fruit drop upon ripening.
