Fruits of this variety have an oblong, often almost cylindrical or terete shape, sometimes slightly ribbed. When ripe, the skin acquires a lemon-yellow color without a pronounced blush and is covered with small dots. The fruit flesh has a pronounced aroma.

Due to the fact that the variety is historical, modern standardized characteristics for tree height or disease resistance are absent. Its parameters can vary significantly depending on growing conditions, as various local forms may be hidden under names associated with a "lemon" taste in different regions.
