The variety is a chance seedling, with a genetic lineage that includes Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, and Winter Banana. The tree begins to bear fruit 2–5 years after planting and requires cross-pollination with other apple varieties.
The fruits ripen in October. The flesh of the fruits is pure white, crisp, and possesses a mild sweet taste with a slight acidity. The harvested crop is capable of maintaining its quality for several months.
The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, drying, as well as for the production of juices and cider. Recommended growing zones correspond to USDA zones 5–8.
