The tree has vigorous growth and a spreading crown; it is triploid. The fruits have a round or round-conical shape, yellow-green skin covered with a crimson-red blush with dark stripes, and juicy cream-colored flesh.
The variety is mid-season or mid-late; harvesting occurs in mid-October. The fruits have poor keeping quality; for cider production, a two-week storage period after harvest is recommended. The tree is susceptible to scab but has good resistance to canker and powdery mildew.
