The variety was obtained within the framework of an apple breeding program. The fruits have an elongated shape with a length-to-diameter ratio exceeding that of Gala and Fuji varieties. Fruit ripening periods occur between the harvest times of Gala and Fuji varieties.

The variety is characterized by good storage quality: under normal storage conditions the period is up to 2 months, and in controlled atmosphere conditions the fruits keep for 6 to 8 months. The plant possesses resistance to Glomerella leaf spot and is capable of bearing fruit in semi-arid tropical climate conditions.

The variety is a subject of research on adaptation to regions with mild winters. To ensure effective yields in commercial orchards, the use of pollinator varieties is recommended.
